Gymboree is the number one selling kids clothes on the net I have some information most people make you pay for!
TOP TEN EBAY SELLING STRATEGIES
Over my years of selling on ebay I have learned some key strategies to help me increase my exposure and profits. I am writing another comprehensive manual that will discuss in detail, along with many others, the strategies listed below. Successful selling on ebay is not about luck or chance it is about using key purposeful thought out strategies. These have worked for me and if used correctly they can work for you as well.
1. Sell in different categories to reach more customers. For example, I primarily sell gymboree but I am always looking for other name brands to list such as Abercrombie or Aeropostale, for example, to reach those customers that may just be looking for those brands. I also like to list maternity clothes because new moms always want to buy the cutest outfits for their little babies.
2. Create a title for maximum exposure. I ALWAYS USE CAPITAL LETTERS IN MYTITLES. This is a great way to get a customers attention without having to pay any listing upgrades such as bold or highlight.
3. Advertise in feedback left. Whenever you leave a feedback for a customer always mention the product they bought and your username. And again make sure to use capital letters.
4. Create links to your other items within your auction. No matter what my auction is for I always have a link to my ebay selling resources page of my store. This is an area of interest for many customers and the link brings them right to it.
5. Do not list retail value in auction descriptions. I am found that whenever I list the retail value of the clothing I am selling it always sells for less. Not sure why. And the longer my descriptions were the less they sold. So keep it short and sweet.
6. The 10 day auction starting on Friday. This way your item(s) go through 2 weekends and end on a Monday which I have found is a great night to end. When I learned this strategy it was a beautiful day. This is good when you have a large item or lot you are selling.
7. SHIP INTERNATIONALLY!!! When I finally gave in to shipping internationally my sales
increased tremendously.
8. Advertise in the subtitle. I list about 10-15 auctions a week and I never list more than one item per category. I always advertise in my subtitles. For example my subtitle can say “CHECK MY STORE FOR MORE GREAT GYMBO ITEMS” OR “CHECK MY STORE FOR ALL MY AWESOME EBAY SELLING TOOLS”. So I have found this to be great way to drive traffic to my store.
9. The .99 NR listing! I have found that when I start my listing off at .99 with no reserve I get
maximum exposure to those listing and almost always make a profit. Of course there are
times I lose money but I more than make up for it by the traffic I bring to my listings.
10. Give superior customer service and freebies to your customers! With so many ebay sellers you have to find a way to make yourself stand out from the crowd. In order to survive in the ebay selling world you must generate repeat loyal customers. So it is your responsibility to create an ebay experience that brings your customers back to you. And what better way than giving them some type of freebie like accessories for an example.

The best yet! I love this web site because I could never tell how much I was spending and making with Ebay and Paypal.
There are web-sites that you can use to help calculate your fees. For eBay and paypal fees I use www.ebcalc.com. I love this site. It is very easy to use and extremely helpful. You just plug in the information for your listing, including how much you paid for item, and then it gives you a total of all your fees and also gives your net income. There is also a section where you can type in your desired net profit and it will calculate how much to charge for shipping/handling to help cover the fees incurred. This tool is invaluable and I highly recommend becoming familiar with it and using it. Once you receive your information then you can plug it into your spreadsheet to keep track of everything. I can not stress enough how important it is to keep track of all your eBay and PayPal fees. If you don’t they will surely eat into your profits.
